Keep your revision moving with feedback, support, and accountability.

isn’t figuring out what needs to change.
It’s actually doing the work.
Making decisions. Revising pages. Staying connected to the bigger vision for the book. Working through the inevitable moments of uncertainty, overthinking, or second-guessing that tend to show up once revision is underway.
That’s where ongoing support can make a real difference.
a high-touch coaching container for writers who want thoughtful feedback, structured accountability, and support while actively revising their manuscript.
Instead of trying to figure it all out on your own, you’ll have:
regular deadlines
feedback on your pages
space to talk through revision decisions as you go
This way, the work keeps moving, you make consistent progress, and you don’t have to revise in a vacuum.

you know what needs attention, but need support actually doing the revision work.
you don’t want to revise alone.
you benefit from deadlines, feedback, and accountability.
you tend to get stuck in overthinking, second-guessing, or losing momentum
you want thoughtful guidance while actively revising—not just another one-time review.
What this is not:

"Working with Maurene from start to finish on my book was a real blessing. Her insightful comments, encouragement and support propelled me to complete my manuscript. Maurene's engaging coaching style and gentle feedback built my confidence and helped me to shape my story into something I could be proud of. The structure, accountability, and schedule she provided gave me a sustainable routine. Whenever my self-doubts popped up, Maurene was there with reassuring emails. It's been a wonderful experience having Maurene as a coach. She is an awesome person and a great book coach! I highly recommend Maurene."

The first time I revised an entire manuscript, I had no clue what I was doing.
I read the craft books, took the classes, took feedback to heart, experimented, and hoped it would all fall into place.
It was still a long and arduous process.
While revisions and iterations are part of the process, breaking it down into steps—sometimes in an order that isn’t immediately obvious—can make it smoother.
Using a mix of coaching materials, personal experience, and expertise, I’ll help you clarify your story and shape it into the book you envision.
I’m here to guide you when you’re ready to start revising with purpose and support.

If Vision to Revision helps clarify what the manuscript needs, Revision in Motion is where you begin working through those changes with support.
This is where revision becomes less theoretical, and a lot less lonely.
