Book Coaching Interest Form
After completing the form, you'll be able to schedule a no-cost discovery call (typically about 30 minutes) to discuss your project and goals. Thank you!
It helps us both. Discovery calls are 30-minute “get to know you” chats.
The information from the form gives me a head start on understanding your project so we can focus on what you need and whether we’re a good fit. We’ll dive into your goals, and the form provides a helpful starting point.
I know it takes courage to share your story with someone new.
Filling out the interest form below helps me learn about your book, where you are in the writing process, and how I can support you through coaching.
Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll be able to schedule a no-cost discovery call.
Completing the form and call does not obligate you in any way to sign up for coaching.
After completing the form, the next step is a no-cost discovery call (about 30 minutes) to discuss your project and goals. After submitting the form, you’ll be redirected to a calendar to choose a time.
Your story and details will remain confidential.
We’ll discuss where you are in your writing journey, what areas you’d like support with, and how coaching might help you move forward.
I’ll explain how I can help you move forward. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to recommend other resources or people who can assist you.
There’s no pressure—if you’re interested in taking the following steps, we can explore what that could look like together. We’ll also cover anything else that comes up during our conversation.
This is your time, and our discussion will be tailored to fit your unique needs.
If you decide to start coaching, I’ll send you a coaching agreement. This will outline the service you’ve chosen, details about scheduling, and general terms.
Once the agreement is signed and the first payment is made, we’ll hop on a quick call to set up your submission deadlines and follow-up calls.
Monthly coaching is flexible—we’ll work together month-to-month until you reach your initial goal (like completing a draft or revision). If you need to pause or cancel, just let me know before the next month’s deadlines.
Every book and writer is unique, so it’s hard to say. I’ll give you honest feedback on your manuscript’s progress, and we’ll stay in touch throughout the process if you’re in monthly coaching.
The goal is to create your best work, which often requires time and more than one draft.
After completing a draft or revision, I recommend setting it aside for at least a month before revisiting it.
I do offer developmental editing (a big-picture edit of the entire manuscript). We can also discuss additional feedback options when you’re ready.
Publishing is unpredictable, so I can’t guarantee you’ll land an agent or a publishing deal. If your goal is independent publishing, readiness will depend on your specific objectives.
At a minimum, I recommend a developmental edit, followed by line or copy editing, and proofreading (I don’t offer copyediting or proofreading).
